While Toyota included a basic finned power steering cooler line on the 3rd Gen Tacoma, the 2nd Gen lacks a power steering cooler entirely. We believe this is a massive oversight for those that use their vehicles in harsh conditions as heat will actively build up without a cooler to dissipate heat from the power steering system. Now, we have a solution!Â
If you plan on using your Tacoma for crawling in the rocks, or even just on extended drives in the desert and bumpy backroads, then this kit is what you need to keep your steering system from overheating and your truck in your control. Keeping the system cool will aid in longer component lifespan and more consistent steering power and feel no matter where you go.Â
This is the same upgraded cooler relocation kit we include as part of the 3G Tacoma Black Diamond front bumper kit, now available as a bolt-in upgrade to your 2005-15 Tacoma.Â
Kit contents: Aluminum 10-row oil cooler, AN fittings/adapters, extended cooler hose and clamps, laser cut and CNC bent mounting brackets, and mounting hardware.Â
